Introduction to main pump positions of coal washery slurry pump
According to different coal washing processes, the pump position names and quantitys of coal washery slurry pump are different, but generally speaking, there are mainly the following pump positions:
1) Qualified medium pump: it is responsible for conveying the qualified medium in the qualified medium barrel to the hydrocyclone to mix it with coal in the hydrocyclone to complete the separation of two phases (light phase and heavy phase). Features: the conveying medium is iron concentrate powder slurry, with small particle size, high density and large wear;
2) Thin medium pump: it is responsible for conveying the thin medium slurry in the thin medium barrel to the magnetic separator for magnetic separation, and the pure medium obtained after magnetic separation will be returned to the qualified medium barrel. Features: conveying medium slurry has small particle size, large density and large wear;
3) Medium feeding pump: it is responsible for transporting the concentrated medium in medium pool to the qualified medium barrel and preparing the qualified medium according to a certain proportion. Features: conveying medium slurry has small particle size, high density and large wear;
4) Cyclone feed pump: it is responsible for conveying the mixed slurry composed of coal and qualified medium in the mixing drum to the hydrocyclone to complete the separation of two phases (light phase and heavy phase) in the hydrocyclone. Features: the conveying medium is the mixed slurry of iron concentrate powder and coal block, with large particle size, large density, large wear, and easy to produce cavitation;
5) Sweeping pump: it is responsible for conveying the ground water or leaked slurry to the thin medium barrel. Features: vertical slurry pump is generally selected, and the requirements for flow and head are not too strict. The selection needs to be combined with the actual pipeline on site, and the speed can be appropriately higher;
6) Circulating water pump: it is responsible for conveying the clarified water in the concentration tank to the water washing system, which is mainly used to wash the magnet powder medium attached to the coal block and as system water. Features: small particle size, small density and small wear of transported slurry;
7) Thickener underflow pump: it is responsible for conveying the concentrated high concentration slime water in the concentration tank to the slime mixing drum of water washing system. Features: small particle size, moderate density and less wear of transported slurry;
8) Filter press feed pump : it is responsible for conveying the high concentration slime water in the slime mixing drum to the filter press for pressure filtration dehydration to form filter cake. Features: small particle size, moderate density and moderate wear of conveying slurry.
